Title III of the ADA protects individuals with disabilities from discrimination and required access to public places that consist of government, food, lodging, and health care establishments (Chalofsky, 2014, p. 303). “Let it go” from Disney’s Frozen by Idina Menzel/Disney Studios free essay sample

â€Å"Let it go! Let it go!† Three months ago, I had walked out of the movie theatre humming these very lyrics from Disney’s new animated feature ‘Frozen’. I think it is safe to say that this is my all time favorite Disney film yet. The story, the songs, the animation and the characters have left a remarkable impression on me and I can’t seem to help but write stories about what would happen after the end of the movie. But the one thing that stuck in my head was the song Elsa sung during her self-imposed exile during the movie. For those of you who have not watched (or *shudder* heard of Frozen) then I will give you an explanation to what I mean. At one part of the movie Elsa had escaped from her coronation reception to the mountains (commonly known in Arendelle as ‘The North Mountain’) after noble dignitaries, her sister Anna, and all of Arendelle find out about her ability to create ice, she runs away out of fear of being out casted and hurting people. We will write a custom essay sample on â€Å"Let it go† from Disney’s Frozen by Idina Menzel/Disney Studios or any similar topic specifically for you Do Not WasteYour Time HIRE WRITER Only 13.90 / page During her trek up the mountain she breaks into the song ‘Let it go’. As she sings she discovers how capable she is of her powers and finally feels liberated and free after years of being isolated and lonely and trying to ‘Conceal, don’t feel’. Now the reason why I love this song so much is because its story tells you on how the past may have seemed bad but you just need to ‘Let it go’. You could be letting go from an end to a bad friendship, relationship or a bad memory and the song will help you feel like it’s time to forget and move on. I also love the singer Idina Menzel (‘Wicked’ ‘Rent’) and how her voice had sung the song. It was very strong, high and it made me feel the freedom Elsa was feeling during that pivotal scene. But don’t think I’m not the only one that thinks this song is great. The song (and movie as well) have won many awards and have received critical acclaim! Frozen and ‘Let it go’ has even won two Academy awards for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song! In conclusion, I believe the song ‘Let it go’ is an amazing song and I would give it a 5 out of 5 stars! I also give the movie 5 stars as well! If you have been living under a rock for the past four months or so then I would suggest please go see the movie and buy the song on iTunes. Frozen also comes out on DVD March 18th so if you loved the movie as much as I do then don’t forget to head to the nearest DVD store to buy it!
